November 19, 2024 – The North Central Region of the Texas Bass Nation, Club Division, and The North Central Region of the Texas Bass Nation Team Division, are excited to announce two “North Central Weekends” in 2025. The two Divisions will hold back to back tournaments on March 29th & 30th at Possum Kingdom Lake and May 17th & 18th on Lake Belton. It’s an opportunity to meet other anglers in our region that you may not otherwise have met, and to compete against them. And what fishermen wouldn’t want to fish both days of a weekend? Asks Stephen Farrar, North Central Region Director, Club Division. An angler whose ultimate goal is to qualify for the Bassmaster Classic, increases his/her odds significantly by participating in both tournament trails, as opposed to just one, as each tournament trail provides for its own path to the Classic. – Stephen.“A partnership between the Divisions just makes sense,” said David Rosenquist, North Central Region Director, Team Division. By coming together for “Region Weekends” both trails are afforded an increased opportunity for growth and gives the anglers of the North Central Region a convenient way to compete in both tournament trails and a second path to reach the next level of competition and ultimately a spot in the Bass Master Classic. – DavidTo see the full 2025 North Central Region Revised Schedule and for information concerning the NCR, visit www.texasbassonline.com/nc-tournaments or contact Stephen Farrar, Regional Director … [Continue reading]
HALLMARK & SCIUTO CROWNED NC REGION CHAMPIONS IN CLUB DIVISION

Justin Hallmark, Big Sandy Creek Bass Club, had the only limit on the boater side and took the first place spot with 9.83 pounds. In second after day 1 was boater, Toby Tucker, also from Big Sandy Creek Bass Club, with 8.75 pounds and one fish shy of a limit. Rounding out the top three boaters in the event after day 1 was Andrew Wren, Tarrant Christian Bass Club, with 5.33 pounds on four fish. On the Co-Angler side, it was Joe Sciuto bringing in an impressive three fish limit weighing 8.46 pounds, which included the big bass of the tournament, a 3.69 pound behmouth! At the conclusion of weigh-in on day one, only 0.2 pounds separated the … [Continue reading]
