The Northwest Region of the Texas BASS Nation held two separate one-day tournaments on Possum Kingdom Lake, March 12th & 13th.
Tournament #1 started with air temps in the low 20’s making it tough on the fisherman. Kelley Hudson used his home lake advantage to take the win bringing in a 5-fish limit weighing 18.12 lbs.
Tom Enloe took 2nd place with 5 fish weighing 13.25 lbs.
New member Freddy De La Paz took 3rd place with 11.25 lbs. Freddy also had Big Bass of the day with a beautiful 8.18 lb largemouth.
Tournament #2 brought warmer air temps but winds in the 20 mph range.
New member Jacob Sepeda took first place with a 5-fish limit weighing 14.90 lbs. Jacob also had Big Bass of the day with a 5.05 lb chunk.
Troy Montgomery took 2nd place with a limit weighing 10.23 lbs.
Floyd Kaerwer came in 3rd with 4 fish weighing 8.86 lbs.
