13 teams battled the elements at Choke Canyon Reservoir during the second stop of the 2024 Texas Bass Nation South Region Team Trail this past Saturday. A front pushed in with steady 15-20 knot Northwesterly winds and overcast skies that kept temperatures in the 40’s most all day.
Team Nilssen/Littlewood returned to the top of the podium this month, grinding out a limit for 12.76 pounds. Second place was a battle, going to Team Ferro/Bishop with a five fish limit for 10.33 pounds. Third place Team Rodriguez/Gulley also had 10.33 pounds, but lost the tiebreaker as they only had 3 fish weighed. Tournament big bass went to Daniel Rodriguez with a 4.61 pound largemouth.
