Last Sunday, March 24th at LBJ, 17 anglers suited up for round three of the TBN South Region Individual Trail. Winds were a steady 10 at launch, building all day with the afternoon gusts to 35 turning Saturday’s sight fishing into a Sunday blowout. Making his way back to the trail in 2024, Ira Lynn beat the wind back and returned to winning form with a 5 fish limit weighing in at 17.08. Look for Ira to work his way back up the ladder and be a contender for AOY. No stranger to the podium, Ryan Watkins brought five fish to the scales weighing in at 14.27, reenforcing his lead in the AOY standings with a solid second place finish. Close behind in third, Thomas Ferro filled the box with five fish totaling 13.09. Rick Shock had the big bass of the tournament, a spawned out big girl weighing in at 7.18. See full results and year-to-date standings.
April 21 the South Region individual trail will be at Choke Canyon. Look forward to seeing everyone on the water.
