Lake Brownwood produced some nice stringers this past weekend despite strong winds. It was the third Trail stop for the West Region in 2018. Finishing in the top spot was Shawn Taylor with 24.25 lbs. Shawn also claimed the Big Bass honors with an 8.30. In second place was Wendell Ramsey weighing 21.55 lbs. Third place went to Logan McDonald with 19.30 lbs. followed by Troy Bryant’s 17.57 lbs. fourth place finish. Rounding out the fifth and final spot was Mark Fenter with 17.20 lbs. Anglers reported catching a majority of there Bass either flipping brush or throwing spinner baits in 2 – 6ft of water.
