2020 First Tournament on Falcon
Click thumbnail to expand. Pictured l to r are Dan Rodriguez, Ted Sprencel and Dean Amos, winners of January tournament on Falcon. 32 anglers battled the 20 MPH winds on Falcon and unfortunately that was
not the only thing brutal about Sundays Tournament. To say Falcon Lake
was stingy in giving up her fish was a major understatement. Fish were
caught on a variety of different baits such as jigs, shakey heads,
Carolina rigs, square bills as well as in different depth of water, but
as usual someone will come up with the correct presentation and come out
victorious. Congratulations to Dean Amos with a five fish limit of 14.96
pounds. Ted Sprencel came in Second Place with a close 14.26 pounds and
Dan Rodriguez took Third Place 12.83 pounds and 7.01 beast for Big Bass. See full results.
Lake Conroe Championship Results
What a brutal event the South Region Championship was on Lake Conroe.
Beautiful lake but apparently the fish did not get the memo that we were
coming and were not graciously accommodating the boaters and non-boaters
but two did managed to catch enough weight to win and advance to
Divisional for the the State Team in 2020. Congratulations to Dan
Rodriguez for wining the Boater position and Larry Nors for wining the
Non-boater division. Big Bass honors went to Kenneth Henry with a 6.54
lb toad. Pictured from left to right are Larry Nors, Dan Rodriguez and Kenneth Henry (click on thumbnail to enlarge). See full results.
