Choke Canyon is fishing extremely tuff these days. With lake levels
being up and so much cover from salt cedars, willow trees and not to mention the hydrilla in the lake catching a fish is as difficult as winning the lottery when you do not play the game. Seventeen anglers battled the little green monster and Cory Leita had the only limit of five bass for a total weight of 8.01. That’s two in a row for Cory by the way. Second went to Trevor Rogge with 6.35 and Big Bass tipping the scales at 4.24. Click picture to enlarge the thumbnail of Cory and Trevor. See full results and year-to-date standings.

Rick Shock and Ira Lynn will be headed to Lake Guntersville, Alabama with the State Team for the 2019 B.A.S.S. Nation Central Regional April 17-19. We wish them luck and are proud to have two outstanding fishermen representing the South Region and Texas!
The next tournament is a schedule change and will be held on April 20th, 2019, on Choke Canyon Reservoir. This change is due to the original date being on Easter Sunday at Falcon. Please make note of this change.
STX February Tournament on Falcon

Falcon was not a fun filled day of catching fish this past Sunday,
everybody was expecting to see big bags of fish. Mother Nature got
involved and threw a curve ball for the anglers and shut the big girls
down. Mr Glenn Hahn of Anglers Bass Club did manage to pull out an 8.27
pounder for Big Bass. Nice job Glenn!!!
Talk about a close tournament between First and Third. I do not believe
it could be any closer, Ira Lynn did manage to pull it off with 13.70
pounds of fish. Cory Leita slid in Second with 13.69 and Glen Hahn
rounded out the field in Third with 13.68.
See full results. Congratulations to everybody and we will see you March 31 at Amistad.
