Fifth tournament in the books due to the reschedule from January.
Fifteen anglers battled it out on the beautiful Lake Amistad this past
Sunday but Ira Lynn topped the scales with a nice 16.08 pound bag of
fish and also capturing Big Bass with a toad weighing in at 7.32 pounds.
Glen Hahn took Second with 12.76 pounds and also had a nice kicker fish
with 6.12 pounds. Congratulations to both anglers on a job well done. Click on thumbnail to enlarge photo of the winners (Left to right, Glen Hahn and Ira Lynn). See full results and year-to-date standings.
May Tournament on Amistad
Cory Leita makes it three in a row. Can anybody stop him as he makes a run for AOY. Cory accomplished First Place again as fishing was not what was to be expected on Amistad. Ted Sprencel captured Second Place with 16 other angles chasing them. Both Cory and Ted having a five fish limit each. Cory 9.78 and Ted 9.07. Honors went to Cory Leita with 3.89 pounds for Big Bass. Our next event will be on Amistad again June 2nd and we will see y’all there. See full results and year-to-date standings.
April Tournament on Choke
Choke Canyon is fishing extremely tuff these days. With lake levels
being up and so much cover from salt cedars, willow trees and not to mention the hydrilla in the lake catching a fish is as difficult as winning the lottery when you do not play the game. Seventeen anglers battled the little green monster and Cory Leita had the only limit of five bass for a total weight of 8.01. That’s two in a row for Cory by the way. Second went to Trevor Rogge with 6.35 and Big Bass tipping the scales at 4.24. Click picture to enlarge the thumbnail of Cory and Trevor. See full results and year-to-date standings.
